....interesting stuff..................sounds like all the leg work that is required to settle on the best solution for the required time frame has been done. .....hope AMD chose well.......no reason to expect less............I think the IBM additions will add much.................have you looked at latest Power and their rational for their design choices? Recall, IBM POWER has been using hub chip for years.

Yeah, I assumed too that it means there is good design efforts going on. But then the comment about demand being 10-20% higher than 2019 makes me think they are referring to products that will sell in 2020 and I don't think Zen 3 based products will be a major factor this year. So I wonder if they were conflating Zen 2 based products vs 2019 demand, and Zen 2 is not 7nm EUV based.
