Braddy, it is important that yor misinformation be corrected on a continuous basis;we will not let you put forth incorrect ideas as you have done the past several months:

QUOTE<<Intravenous dipyridamole, which is commonly used for cardiac stress testing, is also well-tolerated despite the fact that it's administered to known cardiac patients and is used in much higher serum concentrations. >>

The reason Persantine is "well-tolerated" again is because there is a cardiologisd standing NEXT to the patient at ALL times and REGULATING the Intravenous Drip. It is not bolused in. It is dripped in. If the patient starts to develop chest pain from it ( through a "steal " phenomenon, blood going preferentially to the healthy, vasodilated coronaries, bypassing the narrowed coronary ), or if the patient develops bronchospasm and wheezing, the RATE of infusion is immediately reduced or stopped completrely.
If a patient with coronary artery disease or emphysema 9 candidate for chest pain and wheezing/bronchospasm) were to take "extra " doses of Sildenafil for a "better", he would not be able to get rid of it like cutting the drip down.
When are you going to start telling us about the other "safe " PDEs?
