I2, sorry to interject here, your right , somone's buying these things, however they did rally their best after this Asian thing, still looks like percieved flight to safety to me,, I remember seeing bonds at 56, and in my ignorance thought , "they are really cheap and hurting" , never did know much about all this economic stuff , but now they are pricey, however if all the mutual fund stock buyers switch allegiance, whew , the buyers now will reap ,, in my informal, miniscule surveys of what people are doing with their "investment money", They are switching, "ITH cleverly " to MM funds , and bond leaning,, IMHO, the perception is still capital gains, not income,, and even better , return of capital.. BWDIK
