Hello Larry, I pulled out of computers last Aug. however I do keep watch from the sides lines. Gateway price reduction announcements the last 3 days shows the hunger to compete in the sub $1000 market. The lastest announcment: The E-1000 166MMX/16MB SDRAM/3.5/2.0Gig. drive with 15 monitor at $999. If they can stay profitable as the unit price continues to decline (sub $600) & maintain the highly ranked service without affecting profits then a possible opportunity may be present. Sounds like alot of "if's" to me Larry. Smith Barney raised 98' earnings est. to $2.20 from $1.91
