9er, IMHO the Clinton Toast is just on the hot cycle, this Clinton stuff is tabloid hype and while this may shake the markets, the real deal, obstruction of justice will have to be proven in a court of law - then - ping. My bet is he hangs till the going gets tough ---- we get da bear, then Clinton will be outta daer. On Japan & US treasuries, we only need a cessation of buying from them to create a tremor. O 49er, thanks. Have an assessment of the AU short position? Nobody factored in what Clinton's actually running the country with. So we may have some short term surprises.

I sure as hell am no Clinton fan but you're way off the wall. An eye witness doesn't mean a "3 wayer". It means they got caught, which is why Lewinsky was transferred to the Pentagon. Lewinsky will get immunity that's for certain. The question is what will her story be. That's what Starr wants to know before she gets it. He was burned with Hubbell, he won't let it happen again. As for Clinton being toast... I hope so, but I thought he was toast 6 years ago after the Gennifer Flowers story and here he is; the first 2-term Democratic presidendt since Roosevelt. Don't count him out, he isn't known as Slick Willie for nothing.
