Bizarre that their price target for SIMO uses a price to book value metric, and makes up the “correct value for a bottom” as 2.4x! Easier to just say demand may crater, no one knows how badly, so sell. SIMO has $360 million cash and no debt, so they can weather extended misery better than most. But yeah, almost 1,000 cases in South Korea now. If their neighbors put a full on South Korea travel ban, I don’t know how things turn out. Most Asian countries have complete travel bans between them and China/Macau/Hong Kong. Can’t be good for business, but for those who can escape supply chain troubles (who?) maybe prices will rise. What a mess!
