This is interesting in several ways.

Mostly the use of cell phones ot track carriers or potential carriers once identified. This could greatly help first (and probably second) tier nations. This is just one example, I hope, that science can mitigate the spread. I am sure other aspects will be controlled thru tech.

The other is that the public has to buy into being tracked. Would American's go for this? And if the identity of the patients got out, how will the general public react? I am sure many of our citizens would think twice about risking being singled out.

Interestingly South Korea thinks the hub of their outbreak stems from a religious sect, with a large congregation, that acted as the incubator for the virus during services.
