<<Dosen't this seem strange to anyone beside me?>>

Hi Dug,

Augmentation seems to be a secure move. Westell augmented--though conversely to Efficient. If a developer doesn't know what the ruling will be he can buy or develop the rival technology and be assured of survival into the next round. No one wants to be outside the standards. Their dead if they are. Lets remember, the current standard is DMT. CAP is seeking to be added. The only way to lose, as I see, is to have ONLY CAP and have CAP excluded from the new standard. If CAP is excluded it makes it difficult for Westell-but they'll survive--now. Of course, if CAP augments the current standards then that's a bonus for WSTL. Have I got my ducks lined up right? sg
