Cali has a very high rate of poverty because it's the 5th largest economy on the planet and this means housing prices are very, very high. According to conservative group think, immigrants take away jobs and force housing prices to drop (assuming the conservative can grasp this simple concept) but Cali proves them wrong on two fronts. 1) Immigrants are not causing wages to drop and 2) immigrants aren't causing housing prices to fall. So you see, it's not possible for a republican to ever be right. Their group think forbids it.
