Glenn, things change. HK is now up 1.5%, Japan up 3% and Indonesia up 5.7%, as the Globex futures stay weak and even weaken a tad. This apparent decoupling of U.S. from Asia has to be, in my mind, scandal related. Think what you will about Clinton, but I just don't see the benefit to the U.S. (or to its financial markets) in Starr's sex scandal investigation. (How did a Whitewater-related obstruction of justice investigation turn into a sex investigation anyway?) I'm just delighted for Ken Starr that he can now somehow justify his $50MM+ in expenses to date. Any it looks like his sex investigation is going to pay off. But I just want to know what good it did for the country? Gary Korn
