Glenn, you are correct. I was asking a rhetorical question. I heard a recent poll found that, while most Americans think Clinton did the deed, 75% think he ought to stay in office.

In any event, I'd sure prefer if Congress and the press were more focused on what the IMF and Rubin were doing to save Asia. Then again, perhaps that wouldn't help at all.
