A box maker has a similar problem...to what Intuit faced. They make the money on the sale....and hope to get a repeat customer.

Something really interesting here...and it hasn't been discussed.

Yahoo!, Excite, Lycos, InfoSeek, AOL Net Find.....all of those web search companies...pay 10's and 10's of Millions of Dollars to Netscape Annually to be in that drop down search box.

Now here's the senerio....

CPQ........says OK....give us the Source Code. They modify it. Start Loading it up on evey machine they sell.

User user logs onto internet.......hits' the Home Icon.

Guess what......It doesn't hit Netscape.com.......It hits a new CyberZone call it 'Compaq City'.

Are all the Search/Web Guides.......gonna line up to Compaq to get a pipe into that traffic.......and pay Compaq Millions of Bucks?

This is gonna be a very Interesting Year Indeed.............
