Come on Larry,
First of all, do you think the price of 16M is going up or down, and 64M? Then based on that lies the answer right? I remember your chart last week comparing the prices with the stock.
My cut, for what it is worth, 16M is stabilizing after the runup at the beginning of the month. Can it remain at this level, I think it can for now atleast til march 1st on DOC ruling. Could it float back down, of course. There is not a shortage, but output is being tightened up so this could help down the road in a couple of months.
64M sync looks like strong demand could keep it from going down too fast, but will continue to float down each month. PC100 transistion
could be interesting. Intel always has trouble launching new chip sets. So, watch out for a slight delay like the 440LX had last year.
This delay could cause a supply build up of the faster parts that everyone is in a fever pitch to get out the door over the next couple of months. this will not help pricing either.
My gut says Micron is overpriced by about $5-$7. Thats why I asked your opinion. I dont believe the analyst one bit here, no way its going to $40.
Okay, I stuck my neck out, I would appreciate your view. I promise I wont hold you to it.
