Maybe I am missing something, but I just don't get all this talk about data transmission with a cell phone. I can see G* needing to be able to handle data, but I have absolutely no need to surf the net while tooling down the road. What is the size of the market that requires this function? It would have to be small. Joe and Jane consumer have a hard enough time dialing and talking on the phones, let alone checking e-mail, faxing, etc. I can't imagine it would ever pay the operators to upgrade to handle large amounts of data. Maurice, please realize that the word "pay" is quite different form the word "_ricing." I watch my "Maurice Trigger Words" carefully!
