From what I've seen in articles on them, they like grasses very much. It's probably a regular thing that once they get going this time of year, they'll follow spring planting from south to north. Still a lot of variables but not a good situation. Cicadas up the East Coast this year. 17 yr. brood on the way. Should be noisy but harmless. Tracking locust outbreaks across periods of low solar minimums.
