Do you think there is any other side of Cuba other than "the seedy side"? Cuba is a mess. Why do you think so many people risk their lives in makeshift boats to get out of there?

My experience with Cuba is through US & Canadian business partners and international bankers who camp out down there trying to get their money back on loans they gave Castro's government but will likely never be able to collect on. I don't vacation there like SharkBait.

Haven't you ever heard of the food and medicine for cash program operated through our US Agriculture Dept?

"The Trade Sanctions Reform Act of 2000 allowed a limited exception to the U.S. embargo on Cuba for food and medicine. Cubans import more than $2 billion in agricultural products annually, with $150 million of those sales coming from the U.S. The main U.S. exports include chicken, pork and animal feeds."

I was in business with people who were involved at one time selling medicine. They exited the business a short time later though. Too much red tape down there.
