Louise Mensch @LouiseMensch I am told Barr really did worry about Trump's tweets. Not because of non-existent concern for the DOJ but because of sharp concern for Bill Barr. A Bernie nomination would embolden Barr, Trump would be there for four more years. Barr knows Trump loses to Biden. Mostly unnoticed in the South Carolina Bidenquake news, a federal judge has ruled @HomelandKen is not lawfully appointed as Acting Director of USCIS, and his orders are invalid. Barr must fear the courts will vacate his illegal arrangement with Giuliani. Seeing a federal court invalidate an appointment, as @HomelandKen 's has been, should tell Barr that his obstruction of justice can and will be prosecuted under President Biden and an AG who will not countenance political interference. Barr will be scared at a Biden win. I would anticipate that Bill Barr starts to cover his back against prosecution, make noises, even look for a way to quit. Once the rats sense the Trumptantic is sinking, they will all become @AmbJohnBolton , jumping ship and hawking their books as pretended 'whistleblowers'. One thing is for certain; @RealDonaldTrump has no friends. Nobody is loyal to him. Joe Biden means doom to both him and to Vladimir Putin. We can expect a lot of rage and distraction, but nobody, including Bill Barr, will suffer on Trump's behalf. Ends.
