Do you vote for people who cut taxes and create massive debt or for people who raise taxes and fix what tax cutters do?

After a generation of republicans giving away free spending and free tax cuts Dems decided to do the same. Why should we raise taxes or pay for things when your side hasn't done either in a generation?
