I’d evaluate Don Jr. like I would any other candidate. So far I like him tremendously.
I like Don Jr in his present role, but he is a long ways from demonstrating Presidential qualifications. Don Sr had run multiple large businesses for 40+ years through good times and bad, success and failure. That, to me was qualifying experience. Don Jr may have good ideas and communicate them well, but he, to the best of my knowledge, has never had real responsibility or accountability. Has he ever had to deal with serious consequences of a mistake he made?
He may well grow into the job, and if he is the 2024 nominee, I will vote for him over any likely D, but I would like to see him get some more experience on his own, out of his father's shadow. He should run for Senate or Gov, or take a Cabinet post in the next admin. He is young, he can run in 2032, 2036 ...
