HI Steve,

I have a growing position in XOM.

The big difference between GE and XOM is a fortress balance sheet vs GE had a lot of debt (remember Buffets bail out in the credit crisis).

XOM has assets in the ground and ALL over the world.

I had an itch for VAL, but did not pull the trigger. <smile>

That reverse split was a killer for my shares also - fortunately I did not have a lot of them.
