HI Rick,

I take that as a way to reduce the Dollar - we do have the highest rates globally and it impairs out growth, but hurts pensions, so it is a double edged sword.

When the Dollar is reduced - it is a boost to the emerging markets.

The growth of emerging markets is essential for demand growth of commodities.

Demand growth of commodities will raise their price.

A rise in commodities will give us the desired inflation.

I think this rate cut is more about not letting everyone else have cheap debt and a weak currency.

We're listening to Trump, who wants to fight fire with fire on the currency side of things.

Just guessing.
