I also have an account at DATEK and am happy with it, BUT many of the
confirms show the trade as capacity 3 which means that they acted as principal either buying from or selling to me. This may have something to do with their interest in ISLD but just don't know.
I too would like to be able to place stops on NYSE and at this time am using Datek for NASD and Ameritrade for NYSE.

I am not speaking from first hand knowledge, but I think many people on this thread and on Datek's have stated that many of their confirmations have "principal" designation. Personally, I don't know their firm at all but I do know that they have been working hard to develop their business and are doing a good job at that. They must be doing something right. Good for them!

The interesting point is that they take Nasdaq stops instead of listed stops. Does you order become a market order when its bid or prints at your stop?
