[Texas Instruments Invites Media to Participate in Audio Conference on DSL] Based on the recent exciting news about Compaq, Microsoft and Intel's activities in DSL, Texas Instruments believes that their announcement on January 27th will be of particular interest. The company's recent acquisition of Amati and world leadership position in digital signal processing is testimony of the exciting things that are in store for deployment of DSL. TI looks forward to having the media join one of the two audio conferences where they will discuss their activities with this auspicious group as well as their own compelling announcement. TI has scheduled two audio conferences to be held on January 27th for the analysts and editors who cannot physically attend the TI Datacom Summit in Santa Fe, NM. These audio conferences will be held 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (EST) and 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. (PST). It is anticipated each audio conference will consist of 20 minutes of presentation given by George Barber, VP Computer and Network Products at TI; followed by 40 minutes of Q&A. Both audio conferences will cover the same topic, TI's ADSL chipset and their involvement with Compaq/Intel/Microsoft. Texas Instruments encourages you to participate in one of these audio conferences.
