Easy come, easy go. This is the problem with war in Afghanistan. There is no way to get out with dignity. We just need to quit cold turkey and realize we lost. But neither Bush, nor Obama, nor Trump will ever make a decision that makes the US look like we lost. So we may be there for the next 20 years too. What a terrible mistake we made to think that nation building in the Middle East was in the US' best interest.
