He was belittling Dems concerns about his Admins handling of the situation. Which coupled with his latest comments would appear to be very valid concerns. How would you interpret his comments to be anything else than that? Trump has a long history of claiming things are hoaxes, and he has near zero understanding of anything to do with science. In calling AGW a hoax he at least will be dead before the consequences of that haunt him, but in the case of CV-19, we won't be so lucky (although he himself is at significant risk of that "hoax" given campaign rallies).

None of us can see the future (even just this afternoon in the case of AMD!) but as I pointed out to TWY Trump is setting up a near perfect storm in the USA wrt to CV-19 by his stupidity and comments. Maybe we get lucky and avoid the consequences, but it will be luck if we do. I'd prefer to operate on something more robust then luck.

Neo. Trump was not saying that the virus was a hoax. He was saying that Dem talking points about the administration's response is their next hoax. Pretty sure that you know that.

...........of course he knew that.....he is just being disingenuous to the core..... like he often is.
