The stock is trading in London @ 54, up 8 1/2, according to CNNfn.

The deal is this....$30 in cash, and about 0.945 share of CPQ for each DEC share. At the current price of CPQ (around 30 dollars/share), this makes the deal worth around $60/share to the DEC stockholders.

What I need clarification on is the use of the word about. What happens if CPQ drops below $30, or rises above $30? Can anyone add some clarification to this variable in the announcement.

Also, the announcement said the deal will need to be voted on by the DEC shareholder (of course). If things go without a hitch, the deal should close around the mid part of Feb.

Do the members of this thread think that approximately $60 per share is adaquate?
