?, I don't mean speak for any progressives, I am just giving my "opinion" of the progressive movement inasmuch as there seems to be a dearth of progressives on SI. Someone has to speak up for them.

And I DO NOT think one has to support Bernie to be a progressive. I have problems with him myself. People who support Warren are equally progressive. In fact for a while the progressives supported Warren more than Bernie.I supported Warren over Bernie early on and I still see her as a progresive.

And Warren has been a leader of the progressive movement. I was a Warren supporter until she did the hit job on Bernie, then I changed.

I think both Warren and Bernie were not good choices to lead the progressive movement, but it just ended up that way.

I actually would have preferred a smooth progressive like e.g. Howard Dean or Bill Bradly. Both Warren and Bernie are too shrill and combative

But their ideas are the best of all the candidates. Biden isn't even in the same league with either in the social policy department. His working for credit card companies over the poor in bankruptsies, supporting the Hyde amendment 50 times over 40 years, keeping pot a schedule one drug and being against legalization and on and on.

There seems to be very few progressives on SI. The establishment Democrats bash the progressives a lot and few people to articulate the progressive ideology.

I think the progressive movement deserves defending. As I said, I will not defend Bernie, but I will defend the progressive movement.

well bless their little hearts.... and fuck them :^)

it's weird that you seem to speak for all progressives, it's like a person can't be a progressive unless they pledge allegiance to Bernie

as I said, I would have preferred Warren over either bernie or biden

I think she's smarter than both of them put together

I still feel that Warren would be unable to end all life on Earth if the situation called for it.
