Scotsman, Clinton was pro-business, pro-super-capitalism, even in the early days of his administration. He embraced a staunch Republican like Greenspan and renominated him, and brought in Robert Rubin, to give Wall Street confidence in his administration. Like most liberals, he is eclectic. That is not to say he has not hurt liberals either: he clearly blew the National Health Care AGENDA, which was dear to us liberals. Nonetheless, to think that Rebublicans are better for the investment community is a BIG LIE! Why has the stock market gone up more under Democratic Administrations than Reuplican ones?
