I wasn't referencing Black voters, there are more white voters in the south. I was referencing the fact the south is very conservative. I also said rural areas. Biden won the conservative vote and Bernie won the progressive vote.

Ouch. In the Dem primaries in some states, in many cases, the vote is heavily to majority black. Moreover, I wouldn't call that vote "conservative." Many, many commentators made the point in the past few weeks that the black vote is not monolithic. Makes sense. So that makes it even more interesting that it went so overwhelming for Biden. And the best interpretations I read/saw argued that vote was pragmatic and voting to get rid of Trump rather than policy preferences.
