Here is what I think. Biden is fine. Bernie went too far and scared toomany people, plus this is NO fucking time for any revolution right now as much as it is needed! We are facing three existential threats at the same time and they all feed on each other!! We are facing three existential crises, of sorts: Trump, and a pandemic and a depression. I have put a video below by a very sober and measured and convincing Coronavirus expert and if you watch it carefully it will make the hair rise on the back of your neck and you will will see just how dangerous it is. Here are the cliff notes: let's just use the WHO figures of 3.4% mortality (Occum's Razor). The mortality rate for flu is .01, so it has 34 times the mortality rate. Now add to this the "greater contact rate". He uses 3 times, but it might be ten times (it seems much more contagious) , but lets us the conservative number of three times.. And remember we have NO immunity to this strain of virus. That means there could be, "likely"?, going to be 100 deaths for every flue death. And if we average 30,000 flue deaths a year + or -, that means we could see 3,000,000 people die this year in the USA. Now imagine what that will do to commerce. Everything will shut down. In fact a lot of stuff is shut down now, like large public gatherings everywhere. Travel, food, entertainment, etc. And if this unfolds like the numbers say it could--god only knows the panic that will ensue. The expert in the video hesitated to say it was like the 1918 Spanish flu, but he seemed to want to. My guess he did want to fuel a panic, but he did say we should address it like WWII!!
