Hi Tom,

I had sold out at upon their good earnings before the buyout was proposed - (got lucky).

I liked Cypress and thought with the current supply channel modifications happening, a reorientation to a US based chip maker would be sought after by many for producing the more difficult chips - especially in the faster growing auto market.

CY is the third largest auto chip maker and their USB.3 is now getting greater integration to newer devices.

I sold a lot of $10.00 and $12.50 puts on dips of CY. Be more than happy to do it again.

I think management is focussed correctly on becoming specialized on the faster growing segments of the broad semi market.

I'd guess the CFIUS final decision may get it back into that price range if they say "NO DEAL".

Bob
