Strongest low prefers the Canadian side of the split in the variance of North polar geomagnetic intensity regions (Canada weakest/Siberia strongest) currently exhibited in the data. Wrap-around feature strongest jet stream current over the Siberian side due to the combined strength of low-pressure, counter-clockwise "fetch" or "pull" on the lower latitude Russian side of the dynamic being toward Canada. Quicker reversal around weaker - back toward stronger.
