You know they do? How do you know that?

That is a classic right wing idea, along with other right wing myths like the poor are lazy.

I guess you have forgotten, when we were young and in college we saw the primitive ideas the establishment had about racism, sexism, homophobia, conspicuous consumption and the war in Viet Nam was wrong and we protested against them.

We were proven right and the kids today are right.

What you do not seem to understand is that free college is not only important for the individual, it is important for society as a whole making it a better and more humane and productive democracy.

The more society puts into education the better for everyone and society.
