IKe. Korean market has stabilized and MU CEO or any other U.S. CEO will be month too late (Feb) re IMF package. It does, however, impact future "level playing field" but this will take 12 to 18 months to "address" problems then "implement" solutions, IMHO. Net result: continued pricing pressure on DRAMs and no immediate relief and price elasticity (which is sorely needed). Rome was not built in a day and DRAM cheating by SEA'n countries (brushstroke) to solutions is not even close. Free rides are "almost" over but they will milk elsie until "mama" is taken away. SOX is now at 10/09/97 stage and slipping... SPA "dangerous" territory overnight (24 hours ago) so keep stops real tight... IKE............ Clinton is digging in and this is NOT GOOD for market... JT
