All of no consequence to the Saudis.

This price war is going to cost Saudi Arabia an enormous amount of money, while they still have it.

Their only potential win is a Russia switching sides in the Middle East with a completely new attitude toward Saudi Arabia.

It's an audacious gamble, almost unbelievable.

There's "no chance of success", except for the fact that Russia is very vulnerable financially with no alternative in the future, and they have no 'ally' or acquaintance interested in blocking Saudi Arabia's move.

(China? no - US? no - EU? certainly not. UK? A gnat capable of no meaningful assistance.)
