I would think that CPQ buying of DEC should raise the whole group.

3, they still have a few billion left in the bank. I think it's good for CPQ especially in the enterprise business.It seems very possible now for cpq to be 50 billion dollar company by 2000. Cpq sales 25 billion, Dec sales about 13 billion,that put them at 38 billion.Now if cpq can grow 15% annually they will reach the 50 billion easily,i think. cpq shares are up as well in London. Hope the news also helps DELL.

doesn't dent cpq's cash since dec had 2 billion in cash and cpq gets that. so total cash is 8.8 billion .
so that's 8.8b-4.8 b= 4 billion in cash left...
that's plenty
you forgot about that didn't you??????????
