In the US, CleanSweep won PC Magazine's "Best of 1997" award and was featured on MSNBC-TV's "Steals and Deals" as the software solution of choice for spring cleaning a PC. Also, PC Data's December 1998 report indicated CleanSweep produced $42,000 more in revenue than Cybermedia's Uninstaller. In Germany, CleanSweep was deemed the number one software seller by PC Professional in the February 1998 issue and was ranked the number two "Top Selling CD ROM Title" by PC Praxis in December 1997.
