Locally, an airtouch ad aired about 2 minutes after the finish of hte game. they showed the Q phone. Airtouch is cellular only. did any of you catch that one?

AdBit, The important part of the ad is that it happened. I am sure, it could of been better and it could of been worst. A few friends recently bought new phones. Given the choice of the Q/Sony variety they both chose Sony. They liked the plastic, especially the white S, O, N, and Y parts. The Q needs to do a lot of the name recognition stuff. It is too bad that our cable company preempts all ads (Gov't regulation they say !!!!). We got an AT&T wireless world creation. PhoneBit, Another friend reported that in his IS department, colleagues are all complaining about their new cdma phones service. Their complaint is that they are always getting a busy signal. They have 30 phones in one building in a busy part of town. Everyone carries them around the office to stay in touch. It seems to me that the problem is related to a large conversion from analog to digital in the white collar ranks. No doubt, more digital cell sites needed in this neck of the woods. MotoBit, If Qualcomm wants to become a Motorola type player, what's the chance of a Valasic Pickle / Campbell Soup type takeover? I guess Moto would be a pretty big fish to swallow. They would need a lot of help from their friends.
