Richard: Excuse me for interrupting. Just wanted to add my appreciation to what will, I'm certain, be a similar reaction from Doug.

Thanks very much.

Richard:

Tom is getting good at reading my mind. (Even if it is a small book).

Thank you for the first hand report. I recognize "267". A long holding of mine. (Fact, not recommendation to anyone.) Some of what
I have read indicates 165 will replace 267 as the main "voice" of
Beijing in HK because Larry Yeung has become "too westernized."
I've never met Mr Yeung, and being from the west, I'm not sure I'd
understand anyway.

One thing I believe I do understand, that somehow gets lost in the
current turmoil. That is the industrious spirit in many Chinese business owners. I do not say this to be kind, just, I believe historically accurate. Consider that while Mao was on the Long March,
westerners were already working on "Uniac" and second generation mainframe computers. How many years has the gap closed in the last
7-8 years? Would you say Legend computers are far behind? Certainly, there have been excesses in some countries. Some near term slow down
may be experienced. I do not know the Chinese phrase, but in English
it is roughly translates as: "This too, shall soon pass."

Hopefully, the time off during the New Year will allow emotions to cool & reason to return.

Thanks AGain for the valuable information.
