CPQ acquisition of DEC and NOVL

I see your point. CPQ utilizing DEC's corporate contacts and NT installed base to push into the enterprise. Now we will have both MSFT and CPQ with a vested interest in getting NT into the enterprise. Add to that DEC's engineering and support expertise.

With both IBM and CPQ in the NT camp, yes it does look bad for NOVL.

====================
Stock hit 7 today. That's where the inventory of buyers is.

Definitely a blockbuster deal.

Let's hope that it turns out not to be like AT&T/NCR, NOVL/Wordperfect, etc., etc., and more like errr, uhhh, ummmm. Hmmm, can't think of too many of these blockbusters that ever paid off, compared to the many that were disasters.

Hopefully.............
