There was a book "Men are from mars, Women are from Venus" that went into detail about the differences between men and women from multiple perspectives. I also read about how liberals think differently than conservatives and it was along the lines of analytic thinking versus emotional. Maybe it is more of a "value" priority as opposed to one versus the other, in that one values one a lot higher than the other. Women tend to vote liberal more than men as well.
