Valuespec lets turn this around. What kind of news release would start to convince you that this is more than a story? Would the move to NASDAQ big board be good enough? Would the IPO that you doubt will happen, happens be good enough? Would signed contracts for DVG be good enough? Or will have to be hard quarterly numbers be good enough? Please let us all know what your Mason Dixon line is?

How was that Juanita? I'm trying....

Seth

Everyone:

I suggest that we give SI a break and not respond for a while. Let Val-Jean talk to each other. I'm open to a little Chat on Excite PAL.
What do ya think?

Jim G

Or E-mail? Using Excite PAL the advantage is that nobody gets in without an invite. And you can "drag" someone out.

Valuespec ~ You wrote: I find it imperitive[sic] to read the PR releases very carefully.... Excuse me if I am mistaken, but aren't you the one that mis-read the AT&T release and spewed forth your mis-interpretation of it before you read the facts? And how about the latest release when you speculated that the PR company received stock in return? Within minutes of that release I had called Helen to ask how payment was structured. And to this day, you still haven't called the company. You just want to post irresponsibly (which unfortunately, you have the right to do) and not be held accountable for your actions.

The other day my young son told me that if the average smoker quit for one year, he would save enough money to buy a new car. When I told him that he was mis-informed, he said "I'll bet you all of my money." No matter how I explained it to him, even going through the math step by step, he refused to open his mind and let in new information. You are doing the exact same thing. You think you know something and want to spout off about it but you are not willing to do the work it takes to find out the truth. That's called irresponsibility. (I was kind and didn't say ignorance).

And then you want to take the responsibility off of yourself and place it elsewhere i.e. accusing Raleigh of having comparable posts to Marshall's on the RACE thread. Raleigh, or no one else can make anyone buy this company's stock or any other. The on going theme of this thread has always been to do you own DD. You're not doing yours and yet you want others to listen to your uninformed opinion. WHAT?!?

In order to not make your self the laughing stock, you have to be informed before posting mis-information to a group of people who are doing their homework. Skepticism can sometimes be useful, lack of knowledge is always useless. The sky is falling! The sky is falling!

ValueSpec,

Yes from a statistical perspective, almost any inferences can be made. Of course, unsubstantiated numbers make the most dangerous statistics of all. You arm yourself with those statistics just to get even and like anyother case where you arm yourself to get even, you end up shooting yourself, a loved one or an accident happens. :-)

There are a host of differences between a company starting from scratch and a company in FTEL's position, where sales have not hit the books. The product is on the cutting edge, could have appeal to 75% of all companies in the marketplace, there's not a lot of competition (yet), Franklin has been in the market for a long time and for what it's worth, is the culmination of Frank's scheme: To reinvent the internet. Make no mistake, this is it (to borrow a phrase). We forget there are other products that could take off as well. Time is on our side, revenue or not, when you think of the huge market out there.
