Whipsaw, CS and ADCT have nothing in common except you guessing that the chart will look the same. CS was always a laggard with the WS money managers. CS lagged all the other networking stocks. ADCT on the other hand is top ranked and fully followed and participated in by the money managers. They ignored CS and continued to ignore it when it fell. That won't be the case with ADCT which is more like ASND.

ADCT issued 2 statements. In the first they did consider it a short term problem. In the latest one, they were less enthusiastic. Earnings for Q1 were now flat and they attributed that to

a: reduced spending by the telcos.
b: Change in sales Mix for Companys's products.

ASEAN countries will seek to defer payments for their Telcom expansions. As the TELCO's can ill afford such risk, they would prefer to postpone execution of such orders. The ASEAN Countries will require atleast 18 months of solid exports to build up their Dollar reserves to start importing. Telco sales to these areas may be flat till then.

The change in sales of the Companies products could lead to write downs of unsold inventory. Generally a change in the product mix has some financial consequence. These add to the downside risk.

ADCT is likely to be in a trading range for some time. There is some uncertainity and negative issues that need to be resolved first. It may be prudent to wait or nibble at best.
