I'm an observer today...

Gold/silver ratio... now over 101... but gold not moving up either... silver just down much more giving cover to ongoing gold liquidation. The Repo Ramp... still looking like an off ramp... maybe just a rest stop.

Looks like the big down day yesterday... not being matched with a retrace... things are bouncing higher, but only about half of what was lost yesterday is being recovered. In any other circumstance that would be a big day... now I'm wondering if it even holds to the close.

On the "pause" versus "bear"... maybe its just a really fast bear ? I think its really far to soon to judge the dynamic, much less the longer term impact, because we're still just now on the cusp of entering real virus impact on the economy. To see what the long term impact is... we'll need to see how people are changed by the event... how they change their behavior in consequence of it... and that's going to be pretty hard to guess at when the impact isn't registering yet. Maybe easier to make guesses based on projections of numbers rather than people's choices... but I don't think you can expect a "continuation trade" without some refocusing occurring, at least. And, there may be more shoes, and different kinds of shoes, yet to drop...

I fear i shall run out of cash before the market runs out of good, better, and best deals

So must pace into the collapse, try to earn as it goes south, and squeeze-in as it turns north

I cannot see a 1929 situation because we are playing w/ paper money

But there are still genuine dangers and clear risks

Biggest risk is that I am often-enough wrong

Shorting out-of-money puts buffers mistakes, and requires no cash out.
