Chris, I appreciate your intentions, but it would be a cold day in hell that I gave in to the likes of these dipshits. An E-mail list is very non-efficient and why should you or anyone else have to go through those gyrations because of the intentional disruptions created by the aforementioned? I have a better suggestion, I say that if Valuespec, Jean, and Thomas, Diane or whomever wants attention and the right to speak that they do in fact have that right granted. Another thread should be created under the heading "FTEL- Considerations" or whatever they choose. That way they can have their space without creating havoc on this thread where people who are pro-ftel don't have to be bothered by their musings. I suggest that if they don't take us up on this offer, then we should solicit Brad Dryer and show him that their reluctance is in itself, evidence of their intent to create disrruption and have them banished to Coventry once and for all. Chris, you are echoing the sentiments of many here, who like myself have limited amount of time to read the thread. Annoying as it is to have people post nonsense, my guess is that what keeps them coming back is all the attention they get - maybe the best approach is just to ignore them entirely, as the more we respond, the more we take the focus off the really important stuff... besides you don't want to be up all night e-mailing people.

Count me in. Consider this an option: you can potentially put this group on a listserve where posters post to a a server address and it automatically distributes posts to all subscribers. Many listserves have digest formats where you can get one big post per day with all the messages. I don't know how this works or whether there is some unseen complexity or cost involved. There are probably others who can offer more on this. I would suggest that participation in the list have some stated ground rules for obvious reasons. That way new members will know upfront what constitutes acceptable behavior.
