At one time, I was so hooked on Dean Koontz novels that I could not wait for paperbacks. I ordered them as soon as they were published. Yes, his books were great, but then he started delving into the occult, and I steer clear of that as much as possible. So that was the end of my Koontz obsession. But sure enjoyed it while it lasted. Now I'm reading Lee Child's Jack Reacher series. Really enjoying them! But now on the fifth one, he is bringing in politics just like James Patterson did with the "women's murder club" series. And you guessed it - same old liberal claptrap about illegals being mistreated. "Jack" of course is out to rescue the poor, but totally fabulous, illegals from the mean old Americans. I'll decide at the end of this book if I will be reading any more of them.
