As I stated on Yahoo, the discussion here should not be whether they should or shouldn't extend the warrants. Will they or won't they is more realistic. I agree with many of your points as to why they shouldn't be, but my believe is that they will be extended. I base my investments on the belief of what they WILL do.

You may want to consider buying some as a hedge because the stock would probably dip on the news.

Candlestick,
IMHO Martinez will extend warrants because of money. This company surely needs money, otherwise he would have never done the Swiss deal. All of JMAR's great new products won't mean diddle if they don't have the cash to bring them to market. Although JMAR is virtually debt free, there isn't much free cash available for all of Martinez' stated goals. I hope I'm wrong because it would mean that they have all the money they need and revenue will go straight to the bottom line.

As far as the 4.68 barrier arbitrage situation goes, I don't fully agree because we won't be in the same situation as last year. Without CATS, and with DARPA, and new product, we could see earnings double or better this year. If revenues fly, investors will be looking at that first and will blow right by that 4.68 barrier if earnings justify it. We had very little earnings the first time we hit that ceiling.

Buy some warrants.

Richard

If you look, "what happened this time" was the Asian crisis hit just as JMAR approached 5. Then the Swiss situation occurred...

As for punishing the warrant holders as speculators... we are all speculators.
