How did it escape the Chinese lab? That is the important question. My guess is it sneaked out when no one was looking. Good thing it didn't try and get in from the south, locogringo country, where it would have been stopped by the wall, where all federal funds have been diverted for the last 2 years, instead of to Emergency preparedness and maybe not have to disband the pandemic response team and suck FEMA dry.
