Meanwhile, here in "epicenter" California, we just started our first week of a three week "shelter in place" order. And given the trajectory of the epidemic here, I don't think it's just going to be three weeks. I live in San Jose so I certainly understand. I don't think the trajectory is anywhere near what they feared. If it were exponential it would fit the the classic model but thus far appears to be closer to linear. Could just be that most healthy people have few if any symptoms so maybe it is exponential. We'll know in a few months I suppose...
