Possibly CPQ might be thinking that a lot of what DEC is doing is not of interest to them and may sell/eliminate those divisions; they only see part of the organization worthwhile for their purpose in the long run.
It would not surprise me greatly to see significant parts of digital eliminated eventually and only those relevant to CPQ being kept.
SO the answer to your Q is that CPQ may not be planning on realizing all the current revenues.
Also CPQ is a more consumer oriented company and has a very different culture that DEC.
The analysts on the other hand are saying CPQ paid too much.
Palmer can now walk to shareholder meeting with out covering his face with a brown paper bag ;-)
